The Spartan Dischords sang 3 songs during the time I was at their practice. They did a group warm-up for about 15 minutes and then broke out into a couple songs. Each member of the group was dressed in formal attire with a tie, they have a gig tonight called "The Great Gatsby" and it's held at the Kellogg. "Do Din Da" is one for the newer songs the group has started singing. During this song, they break out into "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball." Some boys beat boxed while the rest of the group sang in different harmonies. The Dischords cut practice short tonight due to their gig at 7pm. It is obvious the group has a lot of fun with each performance because they are laughing or dancing the whole time throughout a song.

At about 5:30pm I will be attending the Spartan Dischords practice in the Music Practice building in West Circle. Fourteen guys who are students at Michigan State get together every Tuesday and Thursday to practice for about two hours. Before concerts they may event meet up to four times that week. The group will be very busy at practice today because they just started new songs for their performances coming up. There is about three weeks until their holiday show and they want to make sure they are as prepared as they can be. They plan out every note to each song and who is going to sing what. One of their newest songs is Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball."
